The mission of the Focus on the Family program is to give families understaning, hope, and allow them to begin the process of healing broken relationships, broken emotions, and broken spirits. Ultimately, learning that it is okay to trust, talk and feel.

It is through participation in the program that we facilitate recovery for the entire family by increasing their understanding of the disease of chemical dependency, personal understanding of co-dependency, and the relapse process. We also attempt to help the families begin to set realistic expectations for their loved ones recovery, as well as for themselves.

Both family members and clients participating in our program grow in their awareness of their feelings, begin to learn how to express those feelings appropriately, gain added insight into their family dynamics, dicuss roles they've assumed, and learn more effective means of communication.
